Bachelor of Communication and a very proud mum!!

Vandaag zijn Ruud en ik naar Den Haag geweest. Marije heeft daar de afgelopen 5 maanden op het gemeentehuis gewerkt aan haar afstudeeropdracht en vandaag heeft ze die gepresenteerd. Eindcijfer: een 8!!! Vanaf vandaag is ze officieel Bachelor of Communication! Dat klinkt goed, he?! Nee hoor, mama is helemaaaaal niet trots ;-)
Haar collega's hadden een klein feestje voor haar georganiseerd met koffie en taart en natuurlijk een bos bloemen!!

Today Ruud and I went to the townhouse of The Hague because my daughter Marije celebrated her graduation. She now officially is Bachelor of Communication! Sounds good, don't you think?!
Her colleagues had organised a small party for her and of course she got a bunch of flowers!

Een kop koffie was in de ogen van Marije toch niet de juiste manier om dit te vieren, dus ze had zelf een fles champagne meegenomen (let op: het was 11.00 uur 's ochtends...).
Maar toen moest 'ie nog open...

Because Marije thought that coffee wasn't the right way to celebrate, she brought a bottle of champagne. ( attention: it was 11.00 uur in the morning..)
But then the bottle had to be oppened..

....en dat ging niet zo gemakkelijk...

....and that wasn't easy...



En ja hoor, na heel veel schudden was dit het gevolg. Tja...

And because she shaked it many times, this was the result..

PROOST!! CHEERS!!

En voorlopig blijft Marije nog in Den Haag werken en wonen want ze heeft een baan aangeboden gekregen op dezelfde afdeling!!

And Marije will be living and working in The Hague for the comming time because she was offered a job at the same departement!!
