Of course I had to make something about my own home. This house is very important to me. It was my grandparents home, my father grew up there. When my grandparents died, my parents inherited it and after their death, my sister and I agreed that I could have it. Ruud and I renovated it for more than 5 years and now it's finished, it's our little palace!! The photo is on a piece of Grunge-board by Tim Holtz. I used acrylic paint, gesso and ink to distress it.

My last layout of the week is this one. The picture is of my feet (and my favorite shoes) relaxing on the table in my scrapping room. I love to spend much time in this room, with my computer and all my scrapping stuff close at hand. I printed the photo four times and cut some details out and made depth in the photo.

De grappige foto's van Ruud zijn gemaakt tijdens onze vakantie op Corfu. Ruud is stapelgek op toetjes en was erg benieuwd naar de smaak van dit, voor hem nog onbekende toetje. Zoals je ziet, is het goedgekeurd!
Ik heb de achtergrond met krantenpapier en schilderstape beplakt en daarna met gesso bewerkt. De bloem heb ik van stroken papier gemaakt die ik met spray inkt een kleurtje heb gegeven.

The funny pictures of Ruud have been taken at Corfu. Ruud loves desserts and was very curious to know what this one tasted like. You can see that he liked it very much!!
I made the background by adding newspaper and tape on cardstock and distressed it with gesso. The flower are made from strips of newspaper and colored with spray ink.
