These Are a Few.......and Ad This.

Aan het einde van een ontspannen weekend is hier weer een nieuwe blog update!

Ik kan jullie weer 2 Design Team layouts laten zien.

De eerste is voor These Are a Few of my Favorite Things (lekker makkelijke naam he, voor een blog). Deze keer is het onderwerp: your favorite decade. Dus de jaren '60, '70, '80 enz. enz.

Ik heb gekozen voor de jaren '70. Tot 1976 zat ik op de Havo in Zwolle, ik ging iedere dag vanuit Elburg met de bus naar school, een ritje van ongeveer 30 minuten en dat vond ik helemaal geweldig! Ik was iedere dag verliefd op een andere jongen en waar kon je die beter ontmoeten dan in de bus? Ondanks mijn vele 'verliefdheden' was ik ook een hele serieuze leerling en ik ben dan ook keurig in 1 keer geslaagd!

De foto's die ik op deze layout gebruikt heb, zijn gemaakt tijdens die jaren in Zwolle.

At the end of a relaxed weekend it's time for a new blog-update!

Today I can show you 2 new DT-layouts.

The first one is for These Are a Few of my Favorite Things (love that name for a blog, so easy...lol). This time it's all about your favorite decade. So the sixties, seventies, eighties etc. etc.

My favorites are the seventies! Till 1976 I was at Highschool in Zwolle, every day I went there by bus, about 30 minutes drive, and I loved that!! I loved boys too, every day I had another favorite (where were you then, Julie, lol lol) and the bus was the best place to meet all these boys! In spite of all these 'boyfriends' I was a serious student and I graduated in 1976.

The pictures on this layout have been taken at Higschool.

2 Layouts and an award!

Ik hou ervan om verschillende technieken uit te proberen. Deze keer ben ik aan het werk gegaan met gesso (wat is dat toch super spul!!), toiletpapier, macaroni en spray-inkt. Het resultaat: deze layout, speciaal gemaakt voor de laatste challenge van The Creative Type.

Lotus Paperie and Ad This

Een nieuwe layout voor Lotus Paperie. Het leuke van dit challengeblog vind ik de afwisseling in challenges. Dit keer is het weer een sketch en dit heb ik ervan gemaakt. Het bruine papier is verpakkingsmateriaal. De foto is van Ruud terwijl hij zit te genieten van z'n eerste cappucino van die dag. Hij heeft altijd een paar koppen capo (zoals wij het noemen) nodig om helemaal wakker te worden.

The brown paper is packaging material. The photo is of Ruud, enjoying his first cappucino of the day. He always needs a few cups of capo (as we call it) to wake up completely.

Angele in 't Puntien and Ad This.

Kunnen jullie je nog herinneren dat Angele m'n give-away gewonnen heeft? Vast wel! Dit weekend was het eindelijk zover. Angele, haar man Jan, haar dochter Vivian en haar vriend Ivo kwamen vanuit het verre Limburg naar Belt-Schutsloot voor een weekendje in 't Puntien! Op bovenstaande foto overhandig ik Angele de sleutel....

Angele en Vivian hadden allerlei cadeautjes voor me meegenomen!! Dom als ik ben, heb ik ze in 't Puntien laten liggen, zodat ik jullie er nu geen foto's van kan laten zien. Een van de verrassingen was een hele serie van die geweldige, zelfgemaakte baskets van Angele, in allerlei tinten blauw! SUPER! Ben er zo blij mee!! En ook nog een heel lief, door Angele zelfgemaakt kaartje! En.....een tegoedbon voor de Scrapbookwinkel in Heesch!! Yeah!!
Dankjewel dames, het had echt niet gehoeven maar ik ben er superblij mee!!

Angele and Vivian brought me some presents for, but (stupid me!) I left them in 't Puntien, so I can not show them this moment. One of the presents was a whole bunch of baskets, made by Angele herself, in all kinds of blue's! SUPER, love them!! And also a sweet card, made by Angele. And....a credit note of one of the most wonderful Scrapbookstores we have in Holland, in Heesch. Yeahh! Thanks ladies, you shoudn't have done that but you made me so happy!! Keep an eye on their blogs for the pictures of this weekend!

Helaas heeft Bree besloten de stekker uit Scrapping Across the Universe te trekken...
Heel erg jammer, ik vond het een heel leuk blog en heb haast alle challenges meegedaan. Het leverde me zelfs m'n eerste DT-plek op. De laatste tijd hadden we wat minder deelnemers maar met wat meer inzet van het team had dit volgens mij weer snel kunnen worden opgelost. Helaas dacht Bree hier anders over en is ze met SATU gestopt. Wat ik nog het allerergste vind, is dat het gehele blog verwijderd is.. Als je nu hier klikt, zie je dit.. Alles is weg, alle challenges, alle winnaars, foto's... zooo jammer..

Sadly Bree decided to end Scrapping Across the Universe... I loved this blog and participated almost in every challenge. It even was my first DT membership.. Lately we didn't get to many participants but I think there was an opportunity for the team to change this for the better. Bree didn't think so and ended SATU.. The thing I hate the most is that the complete blog has been removed.. When you click here now, you see this.. Everything is gone, all challenges, all winners, all photos.... sooo sad..
