Drie nieuwe layouts, alledrie héél verschillend!

Allereerst de nieuwe challenge van These Are a Few of my Favorite Things. Deze keer staat je favoriete winkel centraal. Nou, dat was voor mij niet moeilijk. Ik kan geen enkele scrapwinkel weerstaan, maar mijn top favoriet is absoluut de Scrapbookwinkel in Heesch!! Voel me als een klein kind in een snoepwinkel als ik daar ben, héérlijk!

Three new layouts, all three very different style's!

First the new challenge of These Are a Few of my Favorite Things. This time it's all about your favorite shop/store. Well, that wasn't difficult for me. I love every schrapbookstore but my absolute favorite is the Scrapbookstore in Heesch! I'm feeling like a child in a candystore when I'm there!

De volgende layout heb ik gemaakt voor challenge no. 5 van Celine's workshop. De techniek voor deze keer was werken met schilderstape.

Next layout is for challenge no. 5 of Celine's class. Technique this time was to work with masking tape.

En de stijl van de 3e layout hebben jullie nog niet eerder van mij gezien. Ik heb 'm gemaakt voor de juni-challenge van Kraft it Up! Een simpele layout, ja ja! Is ie gelukt, volgens jullie?


And the style of my third page is very unusual for me. I made it for the June challenge of Kraft it Up. A minimalistic layout, you didn't expect that, didn't you?

Pffff, het is warm, m'n armen plakken haast aan m'n bureau vast. En morgen schijnt het helemaal erg te worden!! Dat wordt afzien! Gelukkig kan ik redelijk goed tegen de warmte en hebben we airco in huis.
Morgen ook DE wedstrijd: Nederland-Brazilie!! Duimen voor onze jongens!!

Pfffff, it's hot over here. And tomorrow they're expecting temperatures of 95 degrees and higher! That's very unusual for Holland so it's going to be a hard day for the most of us. Luckely we have airco in our house..
And tomorrow is THE soccermatch: Netherlands-Brasil! Keep your fingers crossed for our boys!!

Another birthday and layout no. 4 of Celine's class

Ja hoor, het is eindelijk zomer!! Ik hoop dat jullie er allemaal van kunnen genieten dit weekend!

SCRAP WORLD CUP

Ik moet zeggen dat ik deze week wat moeite had met de schets van Celine's workshop. De kleuren spraken me niet echt aan en ook met de techniek (vlekken/spetters maken met verdunde waterverf) kon ik niet echt uit de voeten. Toch ben ik wel blij met het eindresultaat. 

Woensdag heb ik een fotoreportage gemaakt van een bevriend gezin. De foto op de layout is van Ruth, hun jongste dochter. Is het geen schatje??

If I'm honest I have to say that I had a hard time with lesson 4 of Celine's latest workshop. The colorcombo wasn't my favorite and I had some problems with the technique (working with watercolor) , but in the end I like the result.

Wednesday I had a photoshoot with a befriended family. The photo I used for the layout is of Ruth, their youngest daughter. Isn't she cute??

Celine's class and Sketchy Thursday

Alweer maandag. Vandaag begint de zomer officieel en volgens het KNMI wordt het deze week prachtig weer! Ik verheug me er op, vooral na het koude weekend! 

Zaterdag natuurlijk naar het Nederlands elftal gekeken. Niet genoten van het spel, wel van de uitslag! Op naar de achtste finale!!

 Ik heb weer 2 layouts gemaakt. Héél verschillende layouts, dat zul je wel zien.

 De eerste is voor de workshop van Celine Navarro. We kregen weer een schets, een kleurencombi (lichtblauw, lichtgroen en zacht geel) en een techniek. Deze keer was het de bedoeling dat we met gesso aan de slag gingen, heerlijk! Ik heb eerst gewoon allerlei restjes papier op lichtgroen cardstock geplakt en heb daar overheen een laag gesso gesmeerd. Beetje glimmermist erbij en klaar was m'n achtergrond.

Monday again.. Today summer officialy begins and according to the weather forecast it's going to be a wonderful and warm week! Looking forward to it, especially after this cold weekend!

Saturday I watched soccer, the Dutch team of course! Didn't enjoy the game but I was so happy with the result!! On our way to the forth round!!

I also made 2 layouts, 2 quite different ones, you'll see. 

First one is for lesson 3 of Celine Navaro's online class. We got a sketch, a colorcombo (light blue, green and yello) and a technique. This time we had to play with gesso. I glued some pieces of paper of my stash on green cardstock and 'painted' it with gesso. Sprayed some blue and transparant glimmermist over it and my background was ready!

De tweede layout heb ik gemaakt voor Sketchy Thursday. Het is een hele vrolijke, kleurrijke pagina geworden met gekke foto's! 

Second one I made for Sketchy Thursday. It's a colorful, happy page with funny pictures!

Ik weet niet of iedereen zo blij is met deze foto's, hihi...

 Don't know if everybody is so happy with these pictures, lol...

Bij These Are a Few of My Favorite Things hebben we een nieuw DT lid, Jana. Ter verwelkoming heeft ze ons allemaal een tag gestuurd. Is dat geen lief gebaar? Dankjewel Jana!!

Two layouts to show you.

Afgelopen week heb ik 2 layouts gemaakt. Ik denk dat m'n mojo weer terug is ;-)

De eerste is gemaakt met de schets van Kreatorville Kraft. Je weet, ik vind het heerlijk om te werken met een schets, dus deze heb ik ook weer met veel plezier gemaakt!

I made 2 layouts this week. Think my mojo is back again ;-)

First one is made with the sketch of Kreatorville Kraft. You know that I love working with a sketch, so I had a lot of fun making this one!

Alles, behalve het craft cardstock, komt uit de mei kit van Keandra. Ik ben helemaal weg van het chipboard meisje van Buzz and Bloom dat ook in de kit zat. Vond haar wel een beetje bloot, dus heb haar maar aangekleed. De foto is van Marije, genomen tijdens een wandeling door een dorpje op Kreta. Ik bleef een hele tijd achter haar lopen en heb zo een hele serie foto's gemaakt. Vandaar de titel I Will Follow You.

Everything, except the craft cardstock, is from the May kit of Keandra. I am totally in love with that chipboard girl of Buzz and Bloom. Felt sorry for her that she was naked, so I made some clothes for her to wear, lol. Picture is of Marije, taken during a walk in a small village at Crete. I kept on walking behind her and took a whole serie of photo's. That's why the title is I Will Follow You.

De tweede layout is gemaakt voor les 2 van de online class van Celine Navarro. We kregen een kleurencombo, een schets en een techniek. En dit is mijn layout:

Second page is made for lesson 2 of the online class of Celine Navarro. She gave us a colorcombo, a sketch and a technique. And I made this layout:

Dit was de techniek: met prikpen en stift een 'nep' naaisteek maken zodat je ook zonder naaimachine stikwerk op je layout kunt maken. Simpel maar doeltreffend.

This was the technique: outline a circle, title, journaling, frame by making holes with your awl, at an equal distance between each hole. Then, using a pen, draw lines between each hole, making a false couture immediately!

Ik weet niet hoe het met jullie is maar ik geniet echt van het WK voetbal. Kijk zoveel mogelijk wedstrijden en daarna naar VI Oranje, geweldig programma!!

Morgen mogen 'onze jongens' dan eindelijk weer aan de bak! Ik duim voor ze!!

I don't know if you feel the same but I'm enjoying the Word Cup soccer so very much!! I'm watching as many games as possible!

Tomorrow 'our guys' have to play again. I wish them all the luck in the world!!
